Description:
The quartet led by Chick Corea appeared at the Lugano Jazz Festival in the southern Swiss city of Lugano on July 3, 1992, and this album features their performance! They toured Europe in 1992, and this album is consistent with their other appearances at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy and the Munich Piano Jazz Festival in Germany, as well as concerts in Stuttgart and other cities. The members of the band are Eddie Gomez on bass and Steve Gadd on drums, who participated in "The Leprechaun" released in 1976, "Friends" and "The Mad Hatter" in 1978, and "Three Quartets" in 1981. The rhythm section is a classic rhythm section that has come of age in the work of the band, and the saxophone is played by Bob Berg, who began his career in the groups of Horace Silver and Cedar Walton, and was in Miles Davis' group from 1984 to 1987.This album contains the complete setlist of the day's performance, including "Humpty Dumpty" and "Sicily" from "The Mad Hatter," "Waltse For Dave" from "Friends," and other songs, as well as some of the band's classic standard numbers. This is a must-listen for fans who can enjoy the technical solo parts of each member and the superb ensemble throughout the entire album! Imported Japanese version
