What an amazing Bessi caftan dress! Great Bessi pieces are right up there with Pucci and Leonard and this particular dress is just fabulous! A cornflower blue serves as the base and then pinks and yellows are screened onto this in a stunning floral design. It's all custom screened onto a fine silk jersey that holds the colors beautifully. They are as crisp and true now as when this was first made! The cut is beautiful the upper shoulders and sleeves are slim and then the dress flows caftan like to a wide wide bottom. The silk jersey is very light and this allows it to drape beautifully despite that there is yards of fabric used through the body. I love the scooped neck and contrasting border at each cuff. This same contrasting border is used around the hem and on one side it goes up the side to forma bit of a side slit for a sexy flash of leg! Excellent, appears unworn condition

Unlined and closes at the back with a painted metal zipper. Fabric is signed throughout.

Note that through the body it is very loose and open but the shoulders and upper bodice are smaller - the fabric has some stretch so it will accommodate a variety of frames
