GLORIA CHRONOGRAPH -GENEVE 17J -Medium sized chronograph at 34mm diameter which looks very much like a military style with its very good black dial. Constant seconds dial and one hour dial as well outer telemetric dial. Flat pushers add to the vintage look along with Cream color Arabic numbers with light green and steel pencil pointers. Stainless chronometer hand. Bezel and case back made of stainless steel and back signed "Gloria" Geneve Stainless. Base of watch and lugs made of base metal and shows lots of wear. Sold to me by a friend in Kent, UK whose uncle wore it during the war. The Swiss Gloria Watch Company was associated with Jean-Richard SA, Geneva and later in the 50's the two merged to become Aquastar. The well running chronograph movement appears to be a Landeron. Black leather strap or with khaki Nato strap as shown.
