The Nürburgring Edition includes 8 push buttons for seamless control of essential functions, all integrated into a fixed layout tailored to the BMW E9X. Designed for drivers using racing seats, helmets, and HANS systems, it brings commonly used controls closer to hand:

Take-Over Headlight Flashing

Engage headlight flashers with a quick button press (momentary function).

Integrated Turn Indicators

Relocated to the wheel for easy access when seat position or safety gear limits reach to the stalks.

DTC Traction Control

Easily accessible Dynamic Traction Control button.

This model requires additional wiring to fully utilise these functions; all connectors, wiring, and installation instructions are included in the kit.

Each push button is laser-etched with illuminated symbols, allowing quick identification and visibility in low light:

Finishes in Suede, Alcantara, or Leather

The standard options are high quality suede, alcantara or leather with a yellow 12 o'clock marker and black stitching. For added personalisation, drivers can choose custom options such as the 12 o’clock marker, stitching colour and grey alcantara for a small additional cost (£60).

For example on our own steering wheel we choose Grey 9002 Alcantara, BMW M Tri Colour stitching and removed the 12 o'clock marker. Options are subject to availability by KMP.

High-Tactile Magnetic Paddles and Illuminated Buttons

The Clubsport Steering Wheel features KMP’s high-tactile carbon fibre magnetic paddles for precise shifting and responsive control. The push buttons are laser-etched and illuminated, dimming in sync with interior lighting for enhanced aesthetics and functionality.

Additional wiring is required to take full advantage of its features, and the kit includes all necessary wiring, connectors, instructions, and an airbag resistor to ensure smooth integration without error codes.
