Golden Barrel Aged Wild Ale with Honey

"An ongoing collaboration with our friends and honey superstars Tim and Emma from Malfory's Gold honey, Hive: Post Brood is a barrel aged golden mixed culture ale refermented with natural formed Warré hive post-brood wild comb from the Blue Mountains and Central Tablelands of NSW.  Each bottle is dipped in the same wax post-refermentation in this beer, there may be small residue still of propolis in the wax leaving black specks in the golden yellow beeswax.   

Tasting notes by Nemesia: The nose is sweet florals, propolis and fresh piney notes reminiscent of eucalyptus. On the palate it is beautifully round and full, brimming with herbaceous honey character, followed by a cleansing acid line through and a touch of bitterness to finish.
