We craft our Indian Yellow from a superior, single, warm transparent modern pigment, Isoindoline, absolutely permanent, excellent mixing strength and lightfastness.

Unlike the historic version of this fabled color, our intensely pigmented Indian Yellow will not fade and can be used for glazing or to hold the value of dark mixtures, facilitating the mixing of deep greens or oranges, while adding a rich warmth.

Due to its poor drying properties, this modern pigment is best used mixed into other colors or in thin applications (not thickly).

Indian Yellow is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
