The Multiconnect intermediate plate and tape joiner is a multifunctional product that functions as a stainless steel tape joiner and intermediate plate for the TurboStar and Turboline strain insulators. It is designed to improve the safety and efficiency of your ribbon fence.

Multifunctional

With the Multiconnect, the Turboline corner insulator can be used as a start or end insulator. The Turbostar corner insulator is suitable by itself as a start or end insulator, but the Multiconnect provides an even more robust construction. Start and end insulators are permanently under voltage, so it is crucial that they are stronger than the tape. Gallagher therefore always recommends using the Multiconnect for these insulators. The deflectable tab of the intermediate plate allows for mounting a round wire clamp (010851/603568) for optimal conduction of parallel and continuous conductors. In addition, the tab can also serve as a gate handle anchor.

Tape Joiner

Finally, the plate can also function as a tape joiners. With the included pins, joining and clamping the tape is a piece of cake. By using high-quality stainless steel, the Multiconnect is not only functional, but also durable and reliable for demanding conditions. The Multiconnect is suitable for 20mm and 40mm wide tapes.
