Reverse Polarity Protection — Important Notes

The XR10 PRO Legacy Edition ESC includes built-in reverse polarity protection — if the battery is connected backwards, the ESC itself will not be damaged. However, full system-wide protection (including the capacitor) requires the use of the optional non-polarized capacitor. The standard capacitor is not reverse-polarity protected — connecting the battery incorrectly may damage the capacitor, but the ESC will remain unaffected.
