A warm and richly rendered spinner fob, featuring a charming chain detail and perfectly autumnal bloodstone and carnelian on opposing sides of the thick disc. Popular accessories in the Victorian and Edwardian eras, these fobs served the dual function of practicality and fashion. Worn on a long chain, a watch chain, or a chatelaine, the fobs could be used with sealing wax to close a letter but also served a decorative function, as evidenced by the many variations and stylistic flourishes across the medium. We love them as a bold pendant (especially on a heavy antique chain).

Very good antique condition with reasonable wear in line with age and use.
